Certification

In December 1997, Platinum China completed the full localization of Platinum Software, bringing forth the marketability of this suite of solutions to enterprises in mainland China. During September 1999, Platinum China received full “product” certification approval from the relevant Chinese authorities. The joint approval committee, consisting of the Shanghai Municipal Finance Bureau's Administration of Accounting Affairs, Shanghai Computer Software Technology Development Centre, and the Accounting Software Professional Committee of Shanghai Software Industry Association, officially certified that the Platinum for Windows financial management software system meets the specific statutory requirements for businesses operating in the People's Republic of China.

As of January 2002, the Platinum for Windows system is the only foreign-developed financial accounting package to receive “PRODUCT” certification from the approval authorities in Shanghai
