Libbey Glass Reliesd on PLATINUM to Enable HR Management

Libbey Glass was founded in 1818 and is headquartered in the United States. For nearly two centuries, Libbey Glass has been designing, producing and selling glassware. It is estimated that Libbey Glass has become the world's second largest glassware manufacturer.

In September 2005, Libbey Glass broke ground on a glassware factory in China, which is the only new Libbey Glass factory in the world in nearly 40 years. After two years of construction, the Libbey China plant went into production and sales in early 2007. Libbey China uses the advanced technology of the United States to produce high-quality glassware products, including water cups, tall glasses and other products.

With the growth of personnel scale, the personnel management of manufacturing factories is becoming more complex, and the workload of core affairs is increasing sharply. Libbey Glass hopes to rely on the digital human resources system to enable basic affairs management and further promote the transformation of human resources information.

Over the years, Libbey Glass has established a strong partnership with PLATINUM, from the original CS version of the Power HRP suite to the B/S architecture of a one-stop human resource management solution. With the continuous iteration and update of PLATINUM products and technologies, Libbey Glass quickly implements, maintains and upgrades the system, always maintains a robust human resource organization efficiency, and significantly reduces management costs and inputs to meet the needs of enterprises for group management.

Thanks to the joint efforts of both project teams, PLATINUM upgraded the core functional modules of Libbey Glass human resource management system to the latest version to cope with complex factory scheduling situations such as scheduling adjustment, personnel deployment, shift work and equipment configuration. At the same time, PLATINUM cooperated with Libbey Glass to deploy employee self-service modules, which provided more convenience for employees' self-service inquiry, overtime/leave application approval, key node reminder and other business processes, extended human resource management to grass-roots employees through information means, and built a direct communication bridge between enterprises and employees.
